On Tuesday, July 21st, an individual reported to the Ithaca Police that he had been the victim of a robbery that occurred earlier that morning. The victim, a teenage male, who does not reside in the area, reported that he met a group of three individuals on the evening of Monday, July 20th, near the bus station on the 700 block of West State St., City of Ithaca. The victim reported that he became acquaintances with the group and traveled to the north side of the City of Ithaca, the Fall Creek area, with them to continue to socialize, accompanied by a fourth individual along the way. The victim reported that during the course of the night, he was assaulted by members of this group. The victim reported being struck and kicked multiple times concurrent with persons going through his pockets and stealing various personal belongings, including an undisclosed amount of cash.
The victim reported that he eventually walked away from the area, of his own volition, and did not seek any immediate medical treatment. The victim reported the incident to the Ithaca Police Department the next day. Three of the four persons of interest are described as black males in their 20's. Two with short hair, one with a goatee, and the third having long dread locks pulled back. The fourth person of interest is described as a white male in his 20's having short brown hair , goatee and long sideburns, and a tattoo on his right forearm that reads "Redneck city".
